One of the youngsters featuring for Broad City FC at this year’s Lagos Supremacy Cup, Moses Teidi has hailed the competition’s organisers for linking discoveries with overseas clubs.
Teidi told Sports247 that the competition’s biggest advantage is the opportunity that it offers young players to get deals with contracts with various overseas clubs.

Although Teidi admitted he was disappointed with his performance in Broad City’s 2-2 draw with Ikorodu City, he expressed optimism that he will do better in their subsequent fixtures.
“I expect more from myself,” the youngster told Sports247 during Day 2 of the competition at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos Island. I did not perform well at all, but I hope to do better next time,” Teidi added.
He then spoke generally about the competition and gave kudos to the organisers for providing a credible platform through which talented youngsters can move abroad.
“I expect more from the competition and the organisers. I want them to pick more boys, so that we can move out of Nigeria.
“The competition is very good and useful. It has helped many boys to travel out within the contacts of the organisers,” Moses Teidi eulogised.
